Our sweet boy is 6 months old! Time has passed so fast! He is a little less snuggly than he used to be but every bit as sweet.
Wyatt is now 17 lbs 9 oz. He is in the 50th percentile for height and weight. He used to be in the 78th for weight, but he seems to be evening out. He is heavy to me, though, because Hadley was (and still is) quite the lightweight.
Wyatt has learned to blow raspberries, and when we try to feed him baby food he blows them and spits baby food bits all over you. He really has no interest in baby food, so I guess we will wait another few weeks and see if he will eat it better then. He is actually quite a lazy little bugger. He knows how to roll. He did it before Thanksgiving. A few times. And since then he has done it...only a few more times. (Once of course, was right off of the couch!) He usually just lays there content and staring, although once in a while he will roll halfway, to one side, and then decide that to finish the roll would be too much effort. And so he returns to the original position.
He enjoys rocking in the rocking chair, splashing in the tub, crinkly books and the occasional stuffed animal. He still is content to be held, especially at dinner time. He takes quite a few naps during the day, and I just let him nap when he wants.
When he decides to regulate them he can, but 3-4 naps a day is alright with me.
And that brings us to the night time. I can count on one hand the times I have gotten 5 or more hours of consecutive sleep. He is playing us. He wakes up to eat, but it has become apparent that he doesn't to as much as he thinks. And then sometimes...gasp! He just wakes up to say hi and get a snuggle. So we have started to let him fuss more. Luckily he never really screams. His fussing escalates, but not to where it is breaking your heart like the screamers. Other than the nights he is the absolute most perfect and sweet baby.
He loves his big sister. All she has to do is smile or laugh at him, and it erupts big fits of giggles from him. She play wrestles with him, and he has started to grab her hair, which she doesn't like much, but she doesn't get too upset with him.
We stole the idea of the little feet picture below from pinterest. Cute! We are celebrating out 5th year anniversary this year, so it makes for a fun anniversary picture, too!

Maybe the next update I do our little lazy man will be a little more motivated. On the upside, my snuggle days with him are lasting longer and we won't have an early walker on our hands. I am fine with that!
